2000–2004 CEBIOCA project (Organic Cereals in the Camargue). To explore the conditions of developing organic cereals, and to highlight yield variability factors.
2005–2006 Experimentation in farming plots. To develop new crop management techniques, i.e. techniques to regulate weeds and improve fertilizer management.
2008 “ORPESA Table” (Organic Rice Production in Environmentally Sensitive Areas).
This project was conducted by INRA (French National Institute of Agronomic Research).
Professional training to support farmers’ conversion to organic systems.
2011 Experimentations of crop management techniques (new testing conducted by INRA and its partners). To further develop techniques focusing on weed management.
2011 International conference on rice (held in Montpellier). To facilitate interactions and develop knowledge among all actors operating in organic rice value chains around the world.
Since 2012 Experimentations by CIRAD (Agricultural Research Centre for International Development). To focus on the techniques of harrows, hoes and rotavators for managing weeds.
