Le capteur est installé le long du stipe sur une hauteur de 1,5 m. Les sondes sont équipées de 3 thermocouples permettant de mesurer le flux de sève sur 3 profondeurs différentes.
Schematic representation of the experimental device adopted for the installation of the sap flow sensors. The date palms are on average 8 m tall, with an average radius of 0.26 m. The sensor is installed along the stipe at a height of 1.5 m; the probes are equipped with 3 thermocouples to measure the sap flow on 3 different depths.
